Papermaking Process and Product Optimization: Reduced 60% paper machine downtime by suppressing periodic disturbances caused by winding components and air distribution in paper dryer sections. Work was awarded with multi-patents and incorporated to international systems for continuous papermachine monitoring.
Alternative Fuel from Biomass for Pulp& Paper Mills: Reduced fossil fuels uses in pulp & paper by generating synthetic gas through gasification of bark & woodwaste using fluidized bed gasifier. Demonstrated a 30% fuel cost reduction in lime kilns and power boilers for fiscal year 1983.
