The Empleando Futuros project is recruiting and providing multiple services and training to the most severe at-risk youth in the five highest crime areas in Honduras. The project identifies youth in need of tertiary prevention services, including technical training, which will lead to improved rates of legal income generation among at-risk youth.
Empleando Futuros works toward increasing evidence and knowledge about effective strategies to provide comprehensive workforce development services to youth in conflict with the law and/or ex-gang members.
The projects’ partners, some who are involved as collaborators and reference agencies and others, as grantees for specific services, support Empleando Futuros’ goal to help youth reduce their levels of risk and provide them with a pathway to employment.
