About This Funding Opportunity

Eligibility Details

Eligibility for the Gratitude Awards:

Social impact mission dealing with CHILDREN and/or EDUCATION in one of these areas:

  • K-12 learning systems, platforms and apps
  • childhood poverty
  • childhood disease or nutrition
  • children’s rights
  • education reform
  • social/emotional learning
  • youth and incarceration

Non-profit or for-profit organizations are eligible
“Scale” stage company:  completed product/service, customers, initial funding already completed, business model being tested or already proven.

Selection Criteria:

  • Strong fit with the MISSION to fund childhood and/or K-12 education (see list of areas on left)
  • Organization seeking to SCALE an already existing product/service and business model
  • Extraordinary LEADERSHIP TEAM
  • INNOVATIVE product/service, business model, or approach
  • Potential to IMPACT many children, adolescents, students, teachers, and/or schools
  • Scaleable BUSINESS MODEL leading to sustainable or profitable organization

Application Guidance

Applications are being accepted up to October 1, 2016 for our 2016-2017 Gratitude Award cohort.

Last year, an elite panel of judges, including respected leaders from the investor, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and relevant sector perspectives reviewed ~550 applications from around the world. Click here to apply for a Gratitude Award.
